Description

Guy Aoki is Oxy class of 1984, although he spent some time between his Oxy years at University of Hawaii, Manoa. Originally from Hilo, Hawaii, Aoki majored in Psychology and now lives in Glendale, California as a self-proclaimed “unemployed writer”. Building a long, successful radio career, Aoki has worked under Casey Kasem and Dick Clark. Later, he founded the Media Action Network for Asian Americans, a watchdog network for representation of Asian Americans in film and television.
